Detailed Program
Day 1:- Cotopaxi National Park
Elevation: 3.850 m./12,959 ft
- Departure from Quito. In private transportation to the Cotopaxi National Park. After checking in at the control point, we will continue for approximately 30 minutes to the Limpiopungo lagoon where we will hike in this glacier lake at the foot of Cotopaxi. A stunning setting to admire the local landscape and nature, then we will drive to the parking lot and from there we start hiking towards the José Ribas Refuge and depending on the time to the glacier at 5.00m/ 16,000 ft. Cotopaxi National Park tour is an exciting day that begins with spectacular views of the unique Andean landscape in the “Avenue of the Volcanoes”. and finally, our transportation will be ready to take us to the Quilotoa. Overnight in the Chuquirahua Hotel "or similar"

Day 2: Quilotoa Lagoon
Elevation:4.862 m./15.951 ft.
- In the morning at 8:00 am after breakfast we will begin to descend along a varying road which will take us an hour until we arrive at the bottom of the lagoon, there we will take photos and rest for one moment, after we walk the lake about 2 hours to the community of Shalala where our transportation will be ready to take us to Quito city. During the tour we will stop at the canyon of the river Toachi and finally visit the Tigua community to observe the leather crafts that they make here.

Ecuadorian Taxes and bank transfer fees, will have to be paid by you, the client. We are obligated tu charge 12% IVA for every payment realized by Ecuadorian citizens.
